Admission Process
In line with the school vision, we offer from FS1 to year 13 admission for students of multicultural backgrounds in the locality and beyond. The school is inclusive and welcomes students who demonstrate ability and a willingness to benefit from its educational, cultural and social provisions and opportunities.
Online registration
Parents are requested to start an inquiry of registration by completing an online application and submitting the required documents. Once the registration application is completed, parents will receive an inquiry number as a verification record for admission. Parents also can book for a tour in the school to know more about the school facilities and learning environment.
After submitting all required documents and having the inquiry number, the admission department will contact the parent(s) to schedule the assessment / interview as required or to inform of the next steps.
New students and their parents are invited to school for a familiarisation visit with the EYFS department. Students are requested to attend an interview followed by a meeting with the parents, in order to determine their readiness for school.
All applicants from Year 2 to year 13 are requested to do an entrance exam in English, Math, Science and Arabic subjects along with an interview to determine the social, emotional and behavioral development skills.
Based on the information received from the screening assessment, students and parents may be asked to meet with the senior leadership team and school Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to gain more information about the student’s ability. English language proficiency and/ or learning skills may also be assessed upon recommendation by school personnel. Additional reports maybe requested if required.
Previous school reports and the result of the entrance exams will be used as supportive document to evaluate basic knowledge and skills and to establish a baseline data. School will inform parents within 5 working days for further steps of admission process.
- An official copy of the end of year report for the current school year must be submitted.
- Original Transfer Certificate: For students transferring between Emirates, the transfer certificate must be submitted and released from the previous school.
- Original Transfer Certificate from Outside the UAE: The original final school report for the current year must be attested in your home country and also attested by the UAE Embassy in your home country and submitted before the first day of school. If the original final school record is issued in America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand or United Kingdom parent do not need to have it attested .If it is issued in a GCC country, then parent just need to have it stamped by the Ministry of Education in your home country.
Required documents for admission
- One copy of the student’s passport with valid visa.
- One copy of the students ‘Emirates ID card / both sides
- One copy of Khulasat al Qaid only for UAE national.
- Passport copy of mother and father and Visa Copy
- One copy of Child’s birth certificate (in Arabic or English)
- 4 recent passport size photographs
- Copy of vaccination card
- Original leaving or Transfer Certificate (only for year 2 and above)
- Copy of the latest report card (only for year 3 and above)
Upon acceptance, a one-time non-refundable registration is due to reserve a place. The first tuition payment must also be received prior to the deadline to confirm the place.
The enrolment is always conditional upon a student successfully the required documentation. Prior to the first day of school, the student file must be complete according to school guidelines. There is a fee for academic assessment and payment is part of the admissions process.
Waiting Lists:
Parents are requested to communicate with the admission department to register their children in the waiting list if there are no places available for admission at the time being.
The admission department will be contacting the applicants when any seat is available.
